The Allen Place Project envisions the conversion of the current complex into Allen Place, a comprehensive community space that will provide 21 units of age-friendly, mixed-income housing along with commercial space, integrative services and programming.

Allen Neighborhood Center Mural
Artist Brian Whitfield was inspired by the Allen Farmers Market and the festivals that happen here. The ANC mural became a finalist for the Contemporary African-American Award, given by the ArtPrize contest in Grand Rapids.
Roof Construction
Allen Neighborhood had a leaky roof, however the Great Lakes Systems roofing company came to the rescue! The following pictures are of the barrel reroof timeline from March to the end of April.
